Does anyone know the intricacies of NHI? Or where I can find this info in English? (My Chinese is very poor)
My mother is currently in Taipei, moved back after 30 years. She is still a Taiwanese citizen, doesn’t have a ID card yet (she just found a place to stay on Saturday). What is the process of getting her NHI? How much is it and how long will it be until it kicks in given her circumstance? I read a post that hinted at 4 months. If she comes back to the US to visit (for a few weeks) will it effect NHI starting coverage date?
Can someone explain “ARC” to me? I see this everywhere but have no idea what it is.
