Nhl playoffs discussion at onionsack

hi all,

dunno if anyone is interested in talking NHL playoffs … every NHL thread here seems to die quickly.

if you are, take a peek at onionsack.org/forum/index.php?board=2.0 and get in on the predictions thread, or start a new one regarding your favorite team.

I checked the Brass Monkey and they had a playoff schedule up.
Not sure if the Tavern will show games. Nothing on their page yet.
Know anywhere else showing them?

vancouver is outta it - i might make a few games, but hardly going to run to taipei too often for the other games. maybe the finals …

any info on games showing around taoyuan … anyone … anyone … bueller … ?

I doubt you’ll see live games anywhere here because the NHL sold its broadcasting rights to a network without affiliates that we can get on a dish on this side of the globe. You’ll have to settle for obtaining them by way of plan B. Plan B? You know. What I said in the NHL forum on onionsack. I’m pretty sure the Brass monkey is a fan of plan B as well.

BTW, I recommend onionsack for anyone who likes to yack about sports of any kind and wants to get into fantasy leagues. :sunglasses:

Aww…you and 914 should have a pity party together for the fallen Canucks.

And when you’re done that, you can join me and watch the Sens as they march to the Cup.

no bitterness from me - while disappointed that they didn’t make it, it will surely result in some changes that NEED to be made …

twill be an interesting off-season.

Round 1: Mission accomplished

The New Jersey Devils will win the Stanley cup.

Maybe an Edmonton New Jersey final?

You think the Senators are gonna win the Cup? HaHahaHa !!!

Wait a minute… YOU’RE ABSOLUTELY RIGHT !

With the Havlat/Fisher/Schaeffer line as unstoppable as the

Heatley/Alfredsson/Spezza line I can’t see them being beaten.

And welcome to Ray Emery’s coming out party. It’s our year.

Go Sens Go

Have any of you seen the Canucks new logo?

Nuff said.

My money is on Ottawa.

I’ll be watching at home from my Armed Foreces Network Satellite TV system.

Only available to those working in the US military and US State department at the AIT in Taipei.

Can’t tell you how I got one.

Edmonton just finished off the NHL’s top team the Detriot Red Wings.

:discodance:

that gutted the w. conference side of my pool :fume:

at least now i can hope they keep on winning - if they turtle and lose in four straight, i’ll be mighty pissed off …

It’s not looking good for Ottawa, Edmonton OR New Jersey. It’s been a very unpredictable playoffs I must say.

I don’t want to talk about it. :frowning:

Holy Crap!

Edmonton beat San Jose in not 1, not 2, but 3 overtimes!

They must be tired.

Final score 3-2

my pool is a big mess other than carolina so far …

ottawa needs to beat buffalo (although i prefer the sabres sans pool) and sj need to win.

We live to fight another day
