Nice wrapping paper

I want to wrap a present to a friend, but I can’t seem to find any nice tradtional wrapping paper. Looking for something simple, just silver or blue, but good quality so I cannot just use some other paper that is normally used for another purpose.

Does anyone know where to get gift wrapping paper in Taipei?

PS: Could a moderator move this to the MISC. forum. By the way, can you guys change the name of that forum back to “Where can I find?”

any stationary store. small 10NT rolls.

The best stationary store I know of is Kingstone on Minsheng E. Rd, east of KuangFu N. Rd, which has lots of types of colored paper, paint, glitter, ribbons, glues or whatever one might need for arts and crafts, as well as an assortment of staplers, hole punches, binders, etc. I believe they also have a fair selection of wrapping paper (but a lousy selection of English books). If that location’s not convenient for you, though, I’m sure there are closer possibilities.

I second that - they have the most fantastic paper, from kiddie cartoon stuff to the most exquisite Japanese-style textured paper. There’s another branch on Zhongxiao East, S4 near the McDonald’s one lane west of Yanji if that’s closer.

I like the stationary store in the basement of the Eslite building on the corner of Anho & Dunhua. Good selection of greeting cards and wrapping paper, though a little on the pricy side.
