Just a quick one… I have noticed I never get a notification anymore when I receive a pm, and only when I log on do I see if I have a message. Is that an admin thing or a firefox thing?
Can’t just be me as a certain gentleman who just sent me a PM noticed he hadn’t recieved notification of an earlier PM I had sent him… :s

Have you double checked your Profile Settings? (Click Member Center at the top right)
There is a toggle switch where you can switch on/off PM notification. Actually there are 2 of them (one is for the pop up notification)
If yours is indeed switched off, then the next question is how it got that way if you didn’t switch it yourself.
Modifications to the forum has been very light lately - I made some changes in the middle of last week for the first time in months. If you notifcations switched off after last week, that could be a clue (although what I did back then should not have affected profile data)
Now, if your switch is set to Notify, and you are not getting the email, double check your SPAM filter.
If that isn’t it, then let’s hope someone else has ideas/experience with this - sorry, bub
well everything is set to yes as it should be… and there’s nothing in my spam filter

Funk500, how many times have you not been notified when you should have been? It would also be helpful to get a sense of when this problem (non-notification) seems to be happening. Work on the server has mostly been happening on other websites - notably, www.taiwanted.com - so there shouldn’t be any effect the forums, let along the profile data - which is housed in a database
If you get a notification, and visit the thread without being logged in, you will get no more notifications until you re-visit the thread while logged in. You would then be notified of subsequent replies.
This doesn’t apply to PM’s, though. Working fine for me, too.
Is the email address in your profile correct ? 
On a similar note, apparently some lady members get dirty PMs, but I never got one, how can I enable this option ?
the email in my profile is correct… And I would say that I’ve had about 3 PMs recently that have come through but never got a mention by email
still not getting a message…
Have you tried searching www.phpBB.com for any leads? I will when a block of time opens up - but let me know if you come across anything first.
