Reminds me of the time I won a coffee off ICRT; they required me to wire them NT$48 to cover the shipment of the free coffee certificate.

The local water authorities have zero standards regarding materials they use during maintenance, and what standards they do have are never enforced. Many of these materials have some very nasty extractables and/or leachables that remain in the water supply for a very long time. Be very weary of ingesting water after maintenance in your area.
