There’s a great little Singaporean place near the Hyatt that does a really good Laksa.
Come out of the main entrance (where the cars arrive), go left and cross Keelung Rd, its just on the opposite side of the street and has a ‘Singapore Cuisine’ sign…

Check out the HK eatery near the TV tower across the street from the CKS MRT stop (?). There’s this large parking lot surrounded by several good restaurants including an Italian, a huoguo, a mala something or other, and this HK eatery. Guys there speak Cantonese, and you can get really good food at a reasonable price.
Thanks for the heads up Jack. I think you’re referring to the Sun Yat Sen Memorial MRT Exit #1. That’s where all the TV stations are. I’ll see if I can track it down.
