Not such a bad idea AC… it would keep NK from selling those nukes to terrorists organizations

Have NK really got hi-tech missiles that are worth buying? Or is it the case that all their stuff is bought from China … who get their stuff by buying from Israel … who get their stuff from buying from the US … ?
Incidentally, I didn’t see a date associated with this. Is the claim that Taiwan tried to do this recently - or 20 years ago when they were also running a nuclear program?
It was a claim by a defecting N. Korean official of some description. I’m sure it could easily be true but right now its an unconfirmed claim, nothing more.
I think North Korea just makes their missiles out of garbage tins welded together.
No big deal.
Taiwan should buy 888 missiles, just to scare China away.
… or is 444 enough. :s
That would be the stupidest thing the NK regime could do. They would certainly lose their only ally if they sold missles to Taiwan. Gimme a break … Kim Jong-il may be a lunatic, but he ain’t stupid.

Knowing the Koreans, the missiles would probably all arrive with the guidance systems hardwired to hit Tokyo.

They probably will sell dummy rockets only. Empty shells.
At the very least, it would behoove them to run this plan by the U.S. first.
