Norton was suffering some nasty injuries after being hit by a car, including a broken jaw, large abrasions on his front legs, and bone damage to his front left ‘wrist’. Lucky for him he was spotted by Mordeth, who called Animals Taiwan, and he was rescued the same day he was found.
Our vets had to remove the front part of his bottom jaw, and they felt it was not a good idea to reset his leg.
His abrasions were also treated, and Norton was neutered, dewormed, deflead, and fully vaccinated. His friendly nature was apparent right from that first vet visit.
Now residing at the Animals Taiwan holding centre, he is slowly building up some healthy weight (muscle, not fat), and is an enthusiastic member of our meet-and-greet team. 
Norton is a wonderfully friendly, outgoing, lovable, cuddly dog, and he is now ready for rehoming. His half-missing lower jaw presents no problems when it comes to eating (he can chomp his way through half a chicken just as well as any dog), and that it allows his tongue to droop out the side of his mouth is actually quite endearing. His twisted wrist has absolutely no effect on Norton’s mobility, as he runs and jumps and plays far more than any of our other dogs and loves to go for long walks. :bravo:
