Goliath is a Great Dane mix. Male about 2-3 years old. When he’s put on weight he should be about 30+kg. He seems to have been dumped in the mountain. No chip has been found and the collar was put on by an AT volunteer. Very freindly and well behaved. Knows how to sit on command. He’s looking for a loving home.

He’s eating more now and tomorrow he gets his 3 rd injection and saturday his final.
He is such a calm well behaved boy.
Goliath appeared on the mountain road between Nangang and Shen keng (Nan Shen road). I saw him and i was feeding him every day. We have no space at our centre, and i’m currently full at my home with 9 dogs.
I took Goliath to the vet to get him neutered and get a health check. Unfortunately he was diagnosed with Babiosia, a tick born disease, so he couldn’t be neutered at that point. He recieved his first two injections to kill this virus and was due to recieve his last two this friday and saturday. unfortunately he went missing on friday morning. (he was there Thursday ).
We have called all the shelters (dog catchers) in the surrounding areas, but no dog like this has been brought in.
He is so so friendly and well behaved i’m hoping someone has taken him in. Someone else was feeding him, but unfortunately they didn’t consider that he was a bit of nusience for the farmer who’s land he was living hom, the feeder constantly left food, plastic bags and containers, which i daily cleaned up. I’ve spoken to the farmer and although Goliath was a pain in the arse for him he has dogs of his own and was more pissed that someone had dumped this dog.
I’m still looking for him every day and i hope he is safe and well, but i’d like to find out where as he needs two more injections.
