Who would have guessed it? The guy whose entire administration on a lock-step basis told folks what a cakewalk this war was going to be, how we were going to be greeted as “liberators”, how the invasion was going to be self-funding within a short while based on Iraq’s wonderful oil reserves, how the initial looting and lawlessness was a natural byproduct of “freedom”, how we had killed Al Qaeda’s “No. 2” man in Iraq a hundred times, how we had repeatedly “turned a new corner” in the fight against the insurgents …
Now we hear that Bush thinks this is going “too slow”? No frickin’ kidding. I guess the Bush supporters just wish the world would speed up and accomodate their own fantasy schedule, just like the Adam Sandler movie “Click”.
