The first time I ever heard of these was when I met a Turkish woman when I moved to the UAE. It’s a staple for us and all of our friends now every time we barbeque…awesome, spicy stuff!

Good GRIEF! But those FB photos look GOOOOD!

They are also tasty as they look.

I’m not in Taiwan, but for those of you in Taiwan, I would recommend giving them a try. They are so yummy and I will miss them dearly when we move from the Middle East!!!

where to find a nice Turkish restaurant in Taiwan? nice as the taste of food instead of price.

There is one in Taichung, Called Anatolia restaurant

There is also a very nice Turkish restaurant in An He Rd in Taipei, it is called TRUVA. Great food!

Sucuk? Really? Having lived in the second largest Turkish city in western Europe (Mannheim), I quickly learned to enjoy the wonders of Turkish restaurants and supermarkets, with Sucuk being one of the favorites. Great to see this here in time for the BBQ season

How do you pronounce “sucuk?” I bet its not the way Doc McCoy does it.

I know probably you didn’t really want to know, but it is supposedly pronounced [sudʒuk]… but now I am interested in how the Dr. would have pronounced it :ponder:

The rude way. With an accompanying smirk.
