Looking for good quality nunchucks. I want the kind that use quality wood and a nylon cord to connect rather than a swivel chain.
Any ideas as to where I could find these.
You’re quite a hardcore dude, aren’t you?
Saw some the other day in a knife shop in Wànnián Dàlóu in Ximending. No idea if they’re the kind you’re after though, but you can stock up on katanas and camo gear at the same place before your final rage against this cruel world.
Haha! It’s not at all like that. I’m not into martial arts and I am not the type to tote weapons around.
When I was a kid (back during the Jimmy Carter administration) A Taiwanese neighbor of mine gave me a pair like this and I practiced with them until I became rather comfortable with them. Somewhere along the line they disappeared and I always wanted to find another pair of similar quality.
Buy broomstick … buy nylon cord … cut broomstick, attach nylon cord … DIY nunch … cheap
Been there, done that. It’s not the same (not even remotely) as a quality pair.
I believe that the truly good ones are made from a special wood that has been submersed in mud for a year.
Yeah. The good ones are really heavy. Broomsticks? Nossir! :no-no:
