Nvidia boss, billionare born in Tainan to small town Kentucky

Seems humble, still married to college sweetheart, some nice donations. His company is top ten in market value (# 6 worldwide)

Hopefully they overcame their “engineering by screaming” attitude…

Lisa Su of AMD is Taiwanese too. In a sense Taiwanese people are kinda like the other Jews.

The benefits of AI are questionable. It’s proving to be a disaster in academia so far.

More bad actors, more chaos.

Of the top 10 fabless designers, 4 are Taiwanese and 6 are American. Three of the 6 American companies have Taiwanese-American CEOs.

And yet you make on average less than Filipinos.

Touché.

Is that a joke?

Only Indian Americans make more than Taiwanese Americans.

Household income is not a personal income.

Why Filipinos couldn’t be making more than Taiwanese, in a fair country, where both ethnicity are equal by the law?

This sound racist to me.

I thought Nvidia is a public company

Do you even have any source to back your claim?

Nice try.

There’s nothing in the article about Kentucky (I’m disappointed).

And Jensen and Lisa are related…albeit a little distance…but related.

I scrolled down looking for your response on that one !
:joy:

not sure, in any case, his parenta chose to be American, and i believe he identifies as one too… clinging to the Taiwanese heritage of tech entrepreneurs is a little pathetic in my opinion.
Ive lived here longer then Mr Huang, but nobody will claim I am Taiwanese :).
