They explain it all pretty good in that video, I thought

the media all misled the American people
That about sums it up.
MOre on that:
MOLLIE HEMINGWAY, THE FEDERALIST: All of it is striking and all of it is disconcerting that foreign governments would try to meddle in our U.S. elections.
What’s particularly problematic, though, is our Department of Justice and FBI are the least credible people to talk about this. Given the information operations they ran against the American people with their Russia collusion hoax, with their cover-up of the Hunter Biden laptop in which they lied about the situation and claimed that it was Russian disinformation and used that to censor American speech, even the first impeachment, the Department of Justice and FBI, there are consequences for those information ops they ran against the American people. And we do need protection from some of these foreign governments meddling in our elections, but we also need protection from our Department of Justice, FBI, and other intelligence agencies who are doing the same.

And this:
MICHAEL SHELLENBERGER: That’s a great question. If you actually believe everything in the indictment, and I read every word of it just now, this is really small ball stuff, there’s no evidence that any Russian money changed anybody’s opinion. They say in the indictment that two of the influencers that were targeted did not know that it was Russian money. There’s no evidence that really there was any serious amount of media coverage to influence anything measurable in terms of opinion. All that being said, the main issue here is that we have this continued – this record of the Department of Justice running Russian disinformation hoaxes twice, not once. The first time claiming that the Russians favored Trump when we now know that they favored Clinton, and then the second time, the Hunter Biden laptop where we now know that the FBI ran a disinformation effort to make people think that it was about the Russians. So nobody should trust blindly the Department of Justice when it says anything about Russia.
MATT TAIBBI: Well, first of all, I mean, it’s just incredible. This story just won’t go away. It just reminds me of the Friday the 13th movies. No matter how many times they killed Jason, he keeps leaping out of Crystal Lake in each sequel. And this is the same thing. This Russiagate story will not die. There is a criminal case here. It remains to be seen exactly how much meat there is on the bone in the actual case.
But what Merrick Garland said in the press conference is not the same as what all those commentators you showed said. He said that what this content was supporting was consistent with Russia’s interest in amplifying U.S. domestic divisions. That’s not the same as saying that they were trying to promote Donald Trump.
And when you get down to the nitty gritty of the story, it’s very confusing, actually, as to what really happened and who was supporting whom.
You’re referring to the Breaking Points video? I’m viewing that one right now.
Edited to add, from around 17:53 to around 18:47 of that video:
“Rescue the Republic” | RealClearInvestigations
But this is post-9/11 America. Whether about surveillance or torture or habeas corpus or secret prisons or rendition or any of a dozen other things, WE IGNORE LAWS. Institutional impunity is the chief characteristic of our current form of government.
We have concepts like “illegal but necessary”: the government may torture, the public obviously can’t. The state may intercept phone calls, you can’t. The state may search without warrants, assassinate, snatch geolocations from your phones, any of a hundred things officially prohibited, but allowed. This concept requires that officials have special permission to ignore laws.
Ten years ago, we were caught spying on three different French presidents as well as companies like BNP Paribas, Credit Agricole, Peugeot, Renault, and Total. Barack Obama called the French to apologize, but did we stop? We did indict the person who released the news, Julian Assange.
Congratulations to Julian on getting out, by the way. And shame on every journalist who did not call for his release.
WE IGNORE LAWS. It’s what America does. With this in mind, our government has moved past censorship to the larger project of changing the American personality. They want a more obedient, timorous, fearful citizen. Their tool is the Internet, a vast machine for doling out reward and punishment through likes and views, shaming or deamplification. The mechanics are complicated but the core concept is simple: you’re upranked for accepting authority, downranked for questioning it, with questions of any kind increasingly viewed as a form of disinformation.
Let me pause to say something about America’s current intellectual class, from which the “anti-disinformation” complex comes. By the way: there are no working-class censors, poor censors, hungry censors. The dirty secret of “content moderation” everywhere is that it’s a tiny sliver of the educated rich correcting everyone else. It’s telling people what fork to use, but you can get a degree in it.
America has the most useless aristocrats in history. Even the French dandies marched to the razor by the Jacobins were towering specimens of humanity compared to the Michael Haydens, John Brennans, James Clappers, Mike McFauls and Rick Stengels who make up America’s self-appointed behavior police.
“When I interviewed then President Trump in July 2020. @CBSNews we posted the interview transcript. This is more complete and NOT the same as a transcript of the edited TV report.”
No. It’s snot.
My testes shrank when she spoke.
Not my quote but I like this…
‘Kamala killed it on Fox News’ is the new ‘Biden is sharper than ever’
He was in a tussle with Charlemagne Da God before on CNN. Apparently, CNN is not calling Trump fascist enough.
CNN seems to have wised up recently that people don’t trust them. They were surprisingly fair to Trump in the debate. There were time I wished them actually stepped in and got Trump and Biden as well back to the actual question. They just let them both say whatever.
ABC was not just incredibly biased and it looked like Trump was debating 3 people tagging each other in. Now it looks like it’s definitely rigged with Kamala probably getting the questions to prep.
There is no reason Kamala can’t answer simple questions by herself from Anderson if she could actually debate against Trump.
Apparently Bezos told them no. I forgot he bought them out years before.
Interesting timing though since he’s owned them since 2013 and never had an issue with it before.
It is odd, the LA Times too.
Sure there is. She doesn’t know what to say that won’t upset her handlers.
ELON is the ONLY IMMIGRANT they actually want OUT OF THE US!
