I have some experience with OBU account with Sinopac but it’s been quite nightmarish so far, can anyone advise me on banks which offers english interface in internet banking and possibly an english speaking hotline for OBU accounts ? It’d be much easier if the bank is confortable with dealing with non chinese foreigners and OBU accounts. I use an interpreter so we can communicate but it’s been very odd so far, although the hotline is rather helpful, and if someone has the contact number or email of Sinopac conflict resolution/complaint department in Taipei I could use it later as well.
Of course I’d be glad to share experience and read reports of others banking OBU with Sinopac and other banks in Taiwan, possibly via pm.
