Suit wearing really seems to be industry specific. Finance and banking I could see wearing a suit everyday, but most others business casual is just fine unless you have an important meeting or presentation.
For the business casual, I’d definitely suggest getting chinos with technical features - moisture wicking, and stretch. Your body will thank you on those hot sweaty days. Look for pants with a poly/cotton blend for moisture wicking, and like 2% elastane (lycra, spandex) for a good amount of stretch.
Brands like lululemon, bonobos and my favorite prana make great tech pants/stretch chinos that work for business casual. Also great for long plane rides.
