I’m going to try my hand at teaching Chinese via the Internet somehow. I’m just going to “wing it” for the first few weeks (I pretty much mastered “winging it” as an English teacher .) My goal is to figure out a way to teach a language over the Internet and then put together something SLICK starting in the fall semester that will unfold in an organized fashion.
But I don’t expect anyone to go register (unless they felt so inclined.) I’d just like to get any advice, tips or feedback you might have for how things should go. Like I said, I’ll be winging it this semester, then try doing a “proper” class next semester (and loosely follow the textbooks that the first semester Chinese students use at my school.)
I would have NO trouble getting a native speaker to help with pronunciation bits (from Taiwan or China.)
