Online store?
My wife sells clothes online through Yahoo Auctions~ A rating of over 2400 stars… and not one of them is fake~

Don’t forget… just because they have a low rating doesn’t mean they suck. They could just be new. It’s really hard for newer shops to start out, because everybody is scared of their low star-rating.
 Opps! Sorry, I didn’t mean it in a bad way or to offend anybody. There are actually alot of very nice and friendly sellers on Yahoo. I am one of those “low rating” sellers myself…he!he!

2400?! :notworthy: That really is a very difficult number to get to =)!

Hi Fortigurn,
The most readily available AMD dual cores are now socket AM2…may I ask what processor number or speed do you have in mind? I will check with our vendor for you =).
Hi Qbit,

Yes, I’m aware that AM2 is the thing right now, and I have an AM2 Shuttle system just waiting for an Athlon 64 X2 Dual-Core5600+ AM2, which I fully intend to purchase from you once I have a few more components for it and a copy of Vista Business Edition.

But my wife’s 939 system needs a speedbump, and a dualcore chip would be ideal for her video editing work. Anything from 2000Mhz up, preferably with 2x1MB cache. Her system also needs more RAM. It’s a Shuttle, and replacing it with an AM2 Shuttle would be a waste of money given that the system is less than a year old (AM2 Shuttle’s are grossly expensive here for some stupid reason - I saved NT$5,000 by purchasing mine last time we went to New York).

Socket 939, 1MB x2 L2 cache and dual core only leaves Athlon 64 X2 4800+ and 4400+ (110W and a low 89W model). May I ask what model Shuttle PCs do you and your wife have?

We currently also have G.Skill memory modules on sale. Numerous overclocking sites gave G.Skill modules good reviews.

Note: reference for GSkill as a brand.

Yes, the 4400+ is the one I was looking at for my wife. I could always order one from the US, but it’s such a pain. My wife has an SN21G5, and I have an SN27P2. My wife currently has 1GB of RAM, which I would like to double. I was looking at your GSkill modules (I’m familiar with GSkill’s excellent reputation), and have this in mind.

Wasn’t offended in the least… I am well aware that it happens. EVen in baby-photo competitions… we were barely at a hundred votes, while others had 6000 and some even 10,000 votes… they were eventually found to have been cheating (not sure how, maybe hiding IP and using fake emails so that they could vote endlessly?)

Just commenting that my wife didn’t cheat in the least and still has a great score.

Actually we have those in stock. Just to make sure, those come in pairs.

There is also one that comes in one stick but I am concerned would there will be compatibility problems with your current module =P?

We will search with our vendor regarding the 4400+ 939 and hopefully get back to you by the end of the day. BTW, may I have your email? You can contact me via my email: henry.chang@qbitonline.com. I would not want this forum to start sounding like an ad

At present my wife’s rig has 1GB in 2x512 modules, so upgrading to 2GB is going to require a pair of new modules, which means your GSkill 2x1GB kit is perfect. Her Shuttle only has two RAM slots, and Windows XP can’t really manage more than 2GB of RAM effectively, so there’s no need for more at this stage.

Thanks a lot.

Sure, I’ll PM you.

Double post.
