I am a Montessori teacher and I would like to open an english or bilingual Montessori school for children aged 3-6. I know that english kindergartens are illegal in Taiwan but I have been told that bilingual schools for young learners are legal. Can anyone tell me how I would go about opening a small school (maybe 10 children) and how to make it legal? Thanks
Not only are they illegal, but they’re a dime a dozen and unless you’re married to a local or hold more than a work-sponsored ARC, it is virtually impossible to open one.
I think you would have more luck finding a job at an existing Montessori preschool, and there are a couple of true Montessori preschools around here.
