etc etc
thanks!!

also i need new pages in my american passport, can i just go to the american embassy for this?

3 days. 60 day only with language school papers. Easy enough to find, but not in central city - need MRT then bus or long walk.

This link gives the address and contact details for the Singapore office.
Thereโ€™s also a good map you can download and print.

The office is about 15 minutes by taxi from the city (45 from the airport) but you could get there by bus.

For the benefit of those you want to make a visa run via Singapore.

All visa applications are done in the morning and all visa releases are done in the afternoon. You can get a visa within one day for a rush service which is more expesive but once you submit it in the morning, you can get it in the afternoon at around 3pm or so.

The TECO office is at PSA Building at Alexandra Road. The easiest is via cab which cost around more or less 10SGD from the city center (Orchard road). Almost all of the cab drivers know where the Taiwan Rep. Office is.

A cheaper alternative is to go via MRT and then take a bus or just take a bus. If you are anywhere near orchard, take bus 143 bound for Jurong. If you would rather take the MRT, go take the MRT and go out at either Redhill Station of Harbour Front station. If you go out Redhill station, take bus 51 going to Jurong. If you go out via Harbour Front station, take either bus 30 (bound for Boonlay) or bus 143 bound for Jurong. In the bus, just seat near the driver and tell him to stop at the nearest bus stop near the PSA building or just ask any other passengers where to get off. Almost 95% of the people in Singapore speaks English. Hope this helps.
