Panic on the MRT Tonight

rectangle head man is a guy who styles his hair into a perfectly square and boxy shape, in a attempt to look young to woo his love interest. calculator boy is a guy who constantly types in the same sum (quite aggressively) into his calculator and never stops. he carry’s a plastic bag with more calculators on him. i’m sure there are more but these are the only two i can remember.

Just so

We get people like that all the time. You will se the cops trailing the fellow two or three steps behind. If they get out of hand, they are escorted out -first floor area is supposedly open to the public, public building and all that kjazz- but I am always surprised how they get in initially.

Which leads to my question: how do these obviously not quite here people have the mind to step into the MRT system? Swipe the card? There are many homeless in the Main Station, but usually stay outside, too crowded in the passenger areas.
There’s a particular place in the Taipei Main Station MRT Station where people of questionable mental stability tend to camp out.
IT’S MY STARBUCKS.

There’s the jie guo guy.

Did you ever see the law woman? She was kind of disheveled and had dozens of bags full of files, and she would tell you in English that she was working on her case, but she wouldn’t tell you about what the case was. She used to take the 245 (254?) bus as well. I hope things worked out for her. I wonder if she had anyone to look after her? :aiyo:

Mental illness. Sad really.
