Dr. Donna Habenicht

Donna J. Habenicht, Ed.D., chairs the Department of Educational and Counseling Psychology in the School of Education at Andrews University, Berrien Springs, Michigan.

A psychologist specializing with children, she frequently holds workshops for parents and teachers on teaching Christian values and has been a conference and union director of child evangelism. Donna is a specialist in the development of values, character, and spirituality in children. She is also an expert in behavioral and emotional problems in children. Dr. Habenict has been recognized with a number of awards in the areas of teaching, research, religious education, and family life. Dr. Habenicht has been actively involved in ministry to children all of her life. Presently she directs the Children’s Ministry Resource Center for Andrews University. She has also written extensively for church and professional publications. Her books have been translated into a number of languages. She is a popular workshop speaker and consultant for families, children’s ministry specialists, and teachers all over the world.
