Parents' date of birth? What for?

So I’m doiung the onli e application form for a visa and it demands the DOB for both parents. What has that got to do with anything? What if both parents are dead or whereabouts unknown? How are you supposed to dig that info up? And why do they need to know?

make it up…they don’t need it, they won’t check it…its an outdated form.

Canada visa, dear? That is in case your parents also apply sometime, somewhere, even from underground.

Don’t people usually know their parents DOB anyway?

As said, most do, but if you don’t have parents, zemapana? The forms won’t let you leave it empty and you cannot reach a human being to save your soul.

That looks more like Spanish than Chinese. Interesting.

Icon never learned Pinyin -when I studied Chinese, it was thought to be an instrument of evil Communists. So pardon my sui generis attempts.

Never too old to learn! Pinyin is wonderful. Zemapana sounds like some kind of delicious food.
