Parsnips, butternut squash and beets

Anyone know where they can be bought in the Taipei area?

Beets can be hit or miss but I have bought them at PX Mart (全聯) in the past and they will have them every few months but it’s quite possible that each location might be different. They are sold in bags with 3-4 inside. They are definitely NOT stocked daily or even weekly.

Costco used to have packs of sealed “already cooked and skinned” beets. They are not super huge beets and you have to buy like 8-12. They are sealed in packs of 4 i think…and the expiring date is like 1 year if remained sealed.

I was at neihu costco last night, but didn’t really check if they are still available since I still have some.

I have bought beets and squash/pumpkins at Wellcome and Jason’s. The beets are usually wrapped in a plastic tray with one or two beets depending on the size. I haven’t seen butternut squash or parsnips. Maybe try out substituting Daikon radish for parsnips?
