Past Time Cafe - NeiHu

I stopped by this place with a friend last night and kicked myself in the butt for never having come before. Old fashioned decor with wooden cloofs, tables and chairs. Lots of old cameras telephones etc. English menu with chicken wings, salads great pasta and curry. We stayed and had some beer and talked to the owner Terry for a while. He said that he was revamping the menu in March so I’m excitedf to see what’s new.

Went there once before…loved it. Great decor, great food.

really food is good there? i live quite close to the place only had a drink there once and the place didnt look to appealing to me.
guess i will give it a try then again if you recommend it so much…

The owner took it over from his sister so maybe it’s different now. I had a chicken ceaser which was nice and buffulo wings so spicy it made my eyes water (just the way I like them)

Yeah, we live near there too. Maybe we oughta get a 'mosan group together for lunch there some weekend.

I remember this place from years ago, thought it had closed down. We stopped going in about 2003 as everything was bad, from food, to service etc.

If practical ownership has changed then might be time for another visit as i can walk home from there especially now the Terminal has closed.

i wish i could do that, but i will leave to go back to germany early next week :frowning:
For me its basically just across the street, i feel a bit pity now, to hear the place is actually good.
Cause i have been there once after i moved here 3 years ago and it was not really exciting.
I hope i can give it a last try on the weekend though as teh list of stuff i have to do here before i leave is quite long

Sounds like a nice place…but just a question.

What is a ‘wooden cloof’ ?

“Old fashioned decor with wooden cloofs,…”

I’ve never heard of this word. Perhaps a typo?
Thanks…and enjoy!

Total typo, sorry, wooden floors.
