Does anybody know of a good pediatrician convenient to the Hsi-chih area, (or failing that, any good one at all)?
My problem is that doctors here are altogether too quick to prescribe medications for the slightest ailment, and most of the medications are concocted in their own offices and compounded with alcohol. None of the ones we have used to date practise even basic hygiene such as washing their hands after seeing the previous sick child etc.

I’ve had good luck with Tsai - a female pediatrician (don’t remember her full name but she is one of only 2 females on staff) at Zhong Shan hospital. It’s near the Ren Ai circle and she is ‘on’ every evening 5-7. You could also see her day hours at the Private Care Clinic adjacent to the hospital. More expensive there but clean and no waiting.
I like Dr.Tsai too. She has four kids of her own so knows what she is talking about!
Her full name is Tsai Yun-yu 蔡雲瑜. She is really thorough and takes her time to discuss issues and answer questions. This can be nice when you are used to the quick two minute
