What almost USD180 per hour poor pay ? damn you must be earning a lot :wink:

Aha, but the odds are good the interpreters are seeing bugger-all of that US$3 per minute. I’d be surprised if they’re seeing even a third of that, before tax. Actually not surprised - amazed.

I would guess that the usual rate paid to the interpreter for that kind of interpreting work is around US $25 an hour. Of course they hype it up: “Work from your home, set your own hours…” (and receive no benefits, and get an amazingly low rate compared to the responsibility you’re taking on…etc. etc.)

They do not screen, er, 100% rigorously at times for skill set competent, either.
