I’ve been looking to travel to the P.Is early next month and just did some research re: government warnings. It seems the New Zealand government strongly advises people not to go there right now. Anyone been there recently and care to comment?
DUH! what’s the reason?! i’m from there, and it is safe. But just like going to most countries, you’ll just have to be extra careful.
I have a Filipina wife and live there when not working in Taiwan… You should use common sense - don’t flash your wallet or cell phone around, if in Manila stay in the heart of town, and do your thing in daytime. if there’s more than one of you you’re safer, and if you want to see some scenic places, join a tour.
