Why so many pimps out and about these days?
I live in a nice residential area with a few 4 star hotels around. It seems every weekend if I go to the local Family Mart I’m approached by a pimp hanging around nearby or pulling over on a scooter.
But last night was a little different. One actually followed me inside, approached me and said loudly enough for everyone in the store to hear…“You want beautiful girl? Have very nice Taiwan miss! Clean! Younger!” While giving the thumbs up signal.
And then he presented me with this business card.:loco:

Yeah, the country code is obvious protection…probably routed through there somehow.
So do you find this to be a common occurance in Family Marts and 7-11’s?

Never happened to me once here in Taichung. But a few weeks back when I fell asleep on the HSR and ended up in Kaohsiung for the night, they just wouldn’t leave me alone.

Taiwan has always been sagging under the weight of all the pimps, ho’s and brothels on the Island. There was a time, even in Taipei, that you could not walk down the street, in some neighborhoods, without wrestling with a succsession of pimps trying to drag you into the dark and skanky bowels of mysteriously hairless “barbershops”. The calls of “Ma-sa-gee, Special!” were part of the soundtrack of the place, along with the batzong seller, the glass and screen man, the mobile green grocer, and those infernal 24/7 funeral tents.

I guess things are… somewhat more discreet now – at least your friend the pimp hasn’t started yanking your arm and dribbling betel nut juice on you, yet.

When I first came to Taiwan and spent a few days in Taichung, I got lots of invitations from pimps. Since then, only one - in Chiayi City.

And we all know which forumosan hangs out there…

Somebody has texted me a couple of times offering sex services. My boss keeps saying he’s going to take me somewhere and hook me up. He has over 3000 students and several hundred teachers so I don’t think he need the extra income.

Sorry to inform you but the porn was taken off after the Pope died… but yes there are some sats that carry porn, just no the ones I install.
