Pioneering bionic feet for cat!

We all love our cats and dogs, and I’m sure we would do everything we could to make their lives better. However, would you be able to put your pet through this? I wonder how much it all cost. Would the benefits outweigh the costs?
A cat that had its back feet severed by a combine harvester has been given two prosthetic limbs in a pioneering operation by a UK vet.

The new feet are custom-made implants that “peg” the ankle to the foot. They are bioengineered to mimic the way deer antler bone grows through the skin.
That’s pretty amazing. I can’t say I would put my cat(s) through that though, to be honest. Not so much for $ reasons though. Same goes with getting wheels and a sort of carriage device for a dog that has lost the use of it’s hind legs. I wouldn’t put the dog through that. That’s me though. I suspect some others probably feel differently about it.
