I was feeling pretty good, and decided to add a relevant poll to a post today (Living in Taiwan - “food”, etc).
Initially, the post and poll were created beautifully. Then, realizing I needed to edit the post (not the poll), I edited the post. When the post redisplayed, the poll was missing. Then I edited the post again, to put the poll back in. When I did that, the poll “options” were duplicated. I did two cycles of this before realizing the “hole was getting deeper” and stopped.
Long story short, it didn’t work right. Any suggestions for how to do this right next time? Is it even possible/advisable to edit a post with a poll attached (if no one has voted yet)?
I just started a poll and went to add a little P.S. to my message. After editing the message, not the poll, the entire poll was deleted and now the thread is pointless:

The poll in my ‘racoon gif’ thread was coming along nicely then all of a sudden it just disappeared without trace. Bloody annoying.
