I recently installed a small pool on my rooftop and now have the obvious problem of trying to keep it clean amoungst the heat and dirt of central Taipei.
What I need is a 1/2 or 3/4 hoprsepower pump and a paper cartridge filter. Or some other ideas…
I’m thinking a place that is in the koi pond business might be my best bet, but again here I’m completly lacking in knowledge of where I should go.
If there’s any chance I’ve got of getting it second hand I’d be stoked as I’d prefer to keep the costs down.
We get our pool stuff at a place called “Chung Lung Pool Service” or so on Zhongshan N. Rd. Sec. 6, on the right hand side just after the intersection with Dexing W. Rd. (where the German Bakery is …). I’m not sure whether they have second hand stuff, but I think they have smaller pumps etc… They also have chlorine and the other chems you need, with the high temps and strong sun here just a filter won’t do the job I think … They’re very nice people.
