Try the pizzas at the Post Home in Tien-Mu. Outstanding!
What kind of crust do the pizzas have at the Post Home?
Do you have the address for the Post Home? What’s the closest MRT stop?
Thanks.

They have both thin and thick crust. Plenty of tomato sauce . Oh yeah, also vegetarian pizzas. It’s 2 minutes walk from the Chih Shan MRT Station.
Thanks, Blueface.
And as long as they have beer (I’m pretty sure they might), I’ll be dropping in there sometime soon.
Before 8PM beers go for NT80 a pop. And Thursday nite is darts nite.
The Philly Cheesesteak Sandwich there is most excellent.

Have to concur with Blueface… The pizza at Post Home is indeed outstanding.
The pizza went very well with the San Miguel and later the Jack Daniel’s.
Good food, good service, cold beer and excellent conversation.
I’ll have to try it again. I went there once for their weekend brunch and wasn’t impressed enough to go back. And then another time for their annual overpriced microwave Thanksgiving dinner. I heard they got a new chef or something.
Maybe I just wasn’t drunk enough.
You should. I’ll have to take my boy up there for pizza. He and I (and Dofu) love pizza.

They have a new chef and manager (American). Makes alot of difference.
I’ve been keeping my eye on this place on Zhongshan N. road by the Zhishan station. It looks to be directly behind the Post 49. (Formerly The Post Home.) The sign says:
Might be interesting. It’s currently under construction.
Thanks for the heads up Richardm. Please let us know when you see them open. I tried their pizza based on the original raves of this thread. Was unimpressed and it gave me heartburn (twice - the first night and the reheated leftovers). Willling to give them another chance with new beer and maybe a makeover on their interior.

I walked by there yesterday and it looked open. It says Club 49 in purple lighted letters. I’ll stop in tonight and see if they’re open.
That wasn’t a “4,” it was a “6.” Be careful, my son.

It was great fun.
Did this place change it’s name, or are their two places with similar names in Tiemu? I went to the Post Home once years ago and was not overly impressed with them. The picture posted by Comrade Stalin seems new, so I am assuming they either have new management or just a new decoration…
