Poster Stores, nearly exact locations please :D

Taiwan Where Can I Find...?

I’m strangely enough, searching for celebrity posters of Takeshi Kaneshiro (and Gackt and L’Arc~en~Ciel, but besides the point).

I found one store in Hsimen (right when you get out of exit 6 to the left) but that is the only one and they didn’t have what I needed. I also know of one in Taichung’s Fongchia Night Market.

I’m sure there are thousands more, but I’m not sure of where to go looking without coming up empty handed. If anyone knows of places, please let me know, thanks!!

Tingzhou Lu sec 3. Get off Kungkuan MRT exit 4, turn left towards Tingzhou, turn left on Tingzhou and walk down towards Tungnanyao theater. It’s on the right-hand side of Tingzhou, somewhere up on 2nd floor. Iirc, there is a tiny stall selling scarfs and jewellery right next to the stairs… You can also check out the book stores. I think Caves (it is, isn’t it?) on Tingzhou right opposite of the theater has quite a selection.

Off the top of my head, I know of two… not sure if they have Takeshi though

  1. Hsimen area - in the basement of the building California Fitness is in.
  2. Shihlin Night Market - if you go out the back door of “City Jungle” towards the night market, you’ll see it.

btw, what IS city jungle!? i’ve been to shilin plenty of times… but i’ve never noticed anything named city jungle before… plus i’m going to shilin today…

There used to be one in Gong Guan - not on Roosevelt, but the street running parallel behind it (where the Kingstone is). It’s on the second floor, just up the road from the Kingstone. It’s been years since I’ve been there, so not sure if they’re still around.

City Jungle is a 4 story building near Shihlin Night Market. If you come out of Exit 1 at the Chientan MRT station and look down the street heading diagonally, you should see the sign. It started out as a mini department store but now is mainly filled with pet vendors, random knicknack sellers and fortune tellers. I don’t think it’s open before 5pm though.

I have found the stores in

a) california fitness’s basement
b) coming out of exit 6 of hsimen station, turn right, walk down the street, it’s on your right.

I didn’t find the one in Shilin (I walked around the street two or three times)

I also haven’t been able to find the gonguan one (but that’s cuz i read the directions wrong).

Did you go after 5pm? Because the store is very difficult to get to unless you can walk through City Jungle. Oops…sorry I didn’t make that clear.
