Maoman, you might want to also disable NewTopic postings as well. 
Why is it disabled? Worried about the illegality of streaking? I didn’t look through all the flounders and flames but I would be curious to know what triggered Code Lockdown. Something someone wrote or just maintance time?

How long is it going to stay disabled? I thought being able to spout rubbish in a special forum was rather useful. A place for everything, and everything in its place. If there’s no place for the woffle then it’ll show up in the wrong place.
Can someone explain? Because it looks like it is being used as a place for moderators to vent their spleen with no fear of a response.
Posting replies for the flounder forum has been reactivated, but the flame forum will remain closed, because, as we already know, flaming is bad.
