Hi,

Does anybody know where I can buy a power converter (110V --> 220V) which can deliver more than 1650W??

I don’t know about the wattage but try going to the National Tax Administration in Taipei and heading south along Zhonghua Road. You will pass a couple of big electronics shops so check them out. Then turn right at the first turning, walk down the road and keep looking. There is a shop that sells just transformers and nothing else. If what they have isn’t right for you, ask them where you can get what you need.
