Instead of starting a new thread, I suppose I’ll just add to this. Basically the same question as the OP, but here in Taiwan. I would like to get first hand info on the process needed to get a power of attorney here in Taiwan. My mom is in the States and my residence is under her name. There is a land tax issue that needs to be dealt with here, but I’m unable to do anything without POA privileges. I’ll be going back to the States this week, so if I need to gather forms or anything, then I’ll have to run around to some offices asap. Thanks for any info!
