I have a case where I’m suing my previous employers for a whole bunch of wrong that they’ve done to me. Since I am now living in Taiwan, I need to hand my rights over to him. I’ve read the pre requisites to getting one. It’s sounds a bit complicated. I would like advice and help.

Para tramitar un poder notarial en Taiwán hay 2 maneras:
A) **** Acudir al Consulado General en Manila y otorgar el poder ante el Cónsul General. Para lo cual recomendamos se pongan en contacto previamente para acordar una cita.
B)** **Realizarlo ante un notario local. (Le adjuntamos un listado de notarios 38.Notarios.doc)
· El poder notarial debe estar redactado en chino o en ingles.
· El notario estampa su sello en inglés y su firma. Posteriormente el poder notarial se trae a esta oficina (tiene la dirección en el pie de firma) para legalizar la firma del notario.
· Debe utilizarse el formulario que se adjunta “26 legaliz hojinf.doc”
· Por último, traducirlo al español por un traductor jurado. En el formulario “26 legaliz hojinf.doc” tiene el enlace al listado de traductores jurados.
Para legalizar un documento emitido por Autoridades de Taiwán en esta oficina, estos han de ser presentados ante un notario público taiwanés. Posteriormente los documentos se presentan en esta oficina para legalizar la firma del notario, concluyendo así el proceso de legalización.

Waiting to see what happens with your Uber issue. If you’re American, you can have them notarized at the AIT, but that may only be accepted for certain purposes. If it’s for use in Taiwan, I’m sure lawyer you say you’re meeting can get it done for you.
