PRC anti-secession law

Good post Elegua.

AIT has now flown in an American doctor from the US. Does that mean that they will take over all the hospitals and drug companies in Taiwan?

Well this has me somewhat concerned. Are you suggesting that the previous form of communication between ROC and USA were not adequate? And the leadership were just talking past each other. :astonished:

Could you claify which restrictions you are referring to? For the most part ROC companies can go to the PRC to do business almost at will.
2) Go ask any US official off-the-record of what they think. Most are upset by what they see as negligent behavior on the part of the Taiwanese

 • slow reform of the army
 • delayed weapons purchases - and a general lack of governmental/ political maturity to pursue policies in the best interest of Taiwan regardless of political affiliation.
 1. Invasion by China is a disaster for Taiwan, but only a major set-back for the US. Taiwan should not forget that fact.
The slow reform of the army and the delayed weapons purchase is 100% the fault of Taiwan’s Chinese Nationalist party (KMT) which is allied with the Chinese Communist party in China to help China slowly usurp Taiwan or at the least slow and/or stop Taiwan from drifting away from the propaganda that the KMT has been force feeding the Taiwan people for 50 years. If the USA would stop believing the crap that the KMT attaches and undercover agents in DC feed them, maybe they could understand the truth.

Finally invasion of Taiwan by China would most definitely hurt China the most as they go forward on their plan to destroy Taiwan the way they are destroying HK. In the end it will be worse for China than if they peacefully coexist and work with Taiwan as partner instead of master.
