Just looking at teaching privately/small groups and looking to place ads (my wife is Taiwanese so no need to work to get an ARC etc). Should I be concerned about the gestapo knocking down my door or anything else like that? Not looking to open a school but just fill up spare time teaching etc.

It can be done. I did it for a year while studying Chinese. However I’m in Taipei so I didn’t need to be as aggressive in my advertising - it was more word-of-mouth.
