Probate Jurisdiction

My last residency was in Washington State. I now have APRC. I am having a lawyer draft a will for me but this issue of jurisdiction is coming up. I am uncertain of what actions AIT takes upon death of an American and if they will want probate here in Taiwan. I know my U.S., last residency will recognize a valid will from Taiwan and that is what I am planning on.
Has anybody had experience with what AIT does upon death of a U.S. citizen with a APRC. I am a citizen of the U.S. so I assume they will take control of the body and do their thing. My will states cremation here and then shipment home but I don’t know if AIT will permit it without some amount of court action in Taiwan.
Has anybody run into this jurisdiction issue. My will involves certain actions by my executor in Taiwan, the cremation and how I am shipped home. Experiences? Please no guesses. I can do that myself.
My U.S. lawyer is checking at home also but I know that if Taiwan declines jurisdiction, then no problems. But, do they need to decline jurisdiction since I am a U.S. citizen residing permanently in Taiwan?
My plan is to get the will finalized and take it to AIT and check to make sure that all is ok but if anybody has some helpful suggestions from experience, I would appreciate it.

I did a Google scan of the ait.org.tw website, and found the following webpages which seem relevant:

Death of a U.S. Citizen in Taiwan
acs.ait.org.tw/records.html

Thanks for that. I will also prepare a representative here in Taiwan, probably my lawyer friend, to take care of the cremation stuff. My G/F - common law wife - just not legally married, will transport ashes to my next of kin in the U.S.
