Taiwan has made “moderate progress” in combating human trafficking over the past six months since it was put on the Special Watch List for the problem, according to an interim assessment released Friday by the U.S. State Department.

There have been no major changes in treatment of Non-ROC nationals by the “Taiwan” government.
There has been no civil or human rights legislation passed to protect Non-ROC nationals legally residing in Taiwan.
The human and civil rights of Non-ROC nationals in Taiwan continues to be degraded and there has been no effort to redress past abuses of Non- ROC nationals in Taiwan.
Nothing has changed except for a few well placed name changes and press statements.
There has not even been an apology.
They call that progress?
