Proper Deli Meat

That’s what I want. I want to make my own or go out for a proper sandwich. I’m talking corned beef and pastrami.
Any help?

Where are you? The best I’ve seen in Taipei - and it’s not great - is in the Tianmu Carrefour, near Zhishan Station; in the various Jason’s; and in the various City Supers. There’s usually “pepper beef”.

Costco has the best value, but if I recall correctly they’ve got pepperoni and salami and that’s about it.

Go to whalen’s and get the smoked meat sandwich.

Oh, that one is good. Not as thick as you’d get in North America, but, well, we’re not in North America.

Try 1 Bite 2 Go in Taipei.

Could try J-Deli seems to be quality meats. I’m curious about it myself.

Can order online from Cory’s Kitchen in Kaohsiung. He’s got pastrami now and all sorts of other great deli meats.

Cory’s got good stuff!

I bought some really nice sliced beef in costco.

I understand that you can buy a Pastrami from Baba Kevin. You might have to pre-order. I haven’t tried it yet but I do like their other things. https://www.facebook.com/88kbbq/ From time-to-time, I like to cure a ham and he gave me some curing salt.
