Where to travel?

With the typhoon, what are the prospects for travelling around Taiwan over the next few weeks? I have a couple of weeks before I have to go home, and want to trvel around a bit, but am wondering if it’s worth sticking around Taiwan, or if I should head off somewhere else. Will the east coast and the south be a mess for the next couple of weeks, or will it all clean up quite quickly? I was looking at Toroko Gorge, Green Island, and Kending. any ideas?
Yes I know the bridge is out to Kending, but there are other ways to get in right?
