Prozac to be pulled from Taiwan market (not really)

The headline is very misleading when the exact same thing is available but with a different name.

If this news source yells fire when there is no fire then can’t believe it when there is a fire. So basically can’t believe anything.

“The active ingredient in Prozac is Fluoxetine, which is also sold under other brand names, such as Sarafem and Selfemra.”

Basically only the local pharmaceutical company will stop manufacturing for the Taiwanese market. Others are still available along with generics under different names and other anti depressants like it are still available.

I notice many drugs have became more expensive since 2018. A few hundred more without NHI.
