I have a contract currently with them, if I wanted to bring in an Apple Watch and add cellular service to it can I do that?
I was going to get one on contract but they said I would have to pay for the phone number for it up front as well as the obvious monthly fee for the service and watch.
This is my first time doing this so I don’t know how to do this at all.
First consideration is making sure it’s unlocked. You may have to ask previous provider to confirm it’s been unlocked.
Second consideration is to ask them the same question for 30 to 40 minutes, and they’ll give up.
Oh yeah I’m gonna buy one that’s fully unlocked!
I went through that when I did get my contract back in October. They spoke English well but yeah it was definitely lots of asking the same questions constantly.
Go to a large center.
From my experience, the Chunghwa Xinyi branch is rather good. The large place next to Guanhua isn’t bad. I generally skip the smaller centers.
I was pleasantly surprised at the place I went to in Luzhu recently. I live in Taoyuan so I didn’t expect anyone to be able to help in English but it was nice!
