Greetings folks, could someone in the know help me out with this one? If a holder of an ARC leaves Taiwan, say Sept 2002, on a one-way ticket (not intending to return of course), is he/she required on exit to show a slip from the tax office indicating that he/she has filed for the period Jan-Sept 2002?

No. Exit procedures were abolished many years ago.
