i purchase a shirt
and i want to know what the words on the shirt meanings.

The front (it looks like the front, at least) says “bu2 ke4qi4” and that means “You’re welcome” or “Don’t mention it”.
The back says “mei2 guan1xi” which means “It doesn’t matter” or “It’s not important.”

Let me offer a second interpretation that might fit in better with the shirt:
“bu2 ke4 qi4” can also be the negative form of “ke4 qi4”-- “not ke4 qi4”
ke4 qi4 means acting politely and respectfully, like towards a guest. The negation would be to “not stand on ceremony”. Generally when saying “make yourself at home” you would say “bu2 yong4 ke4 qi4” Put this and “it doesn’t matter” together it could be “bu2 ke4 qi4, mei2 guan1 xi1” since that sounds more paralell than adding in yong4.
It comes out something like “be at ease, it’s all good”, which is more of a T-Shirt slogan than “you’re welcome, that’s ok”
