Questions Concerning the 7-11 Mobile Phone Open SIM Card

Original Title: URGENT! Mobile Phone Recharging 7-11 Open

I have a 7-11 Open SIM card in my mobile (supplied by work) and I have a $300 top up card which I want to use. Now Although the messages telling you that you have less then $50 in your account and that you have no credit are in English after the Chinese and the scratch card has english on it telling you instructions it lacks any english in the account number (722) you call. But you said the card has instructions, yes however rather then saying press 2 to recharge it just says 'After greeting announcement, choose ‘Recharge Service’…

The Japanese mobile I have does have a message after the Japanese saying ‘For English press 5’ then converts everything to English… is there something like that here or can someone tell me what too press?

I am currently sick indoors and want to call someone to buy me some medicine…

Please help!!!

I don’t have that one, so I don’t know for sure; however, I have the Fast East Tone that I recharge with a scratch card too, so maybe it’s the same…First menu I hit 1, second menu hit 1 again and then after the voice message is done talking I put in the number on the card followed by #. Usually for the pay as you go, you need to call the customer service to have the messages changed to English, but I didn’t buy my card originally, so I didn’t have the right ID number, so they wouldn’t let me change it. You might be in the same boat if your company bought it for you.

Ask a kind forumosan to drop some off for you. If you’re in my area I will.

Dyfed, have you managed to recharge 7Mobile? I’m facing the same issue right now :ponder:

To OP: ^That would be abouts Ximen/Sanchong, I believe.
And I’m near ShiDa. I live near several pharmacies and have tomorrow morning off from work and nighttime.
I don’t have NHI yet, so I don’t know how that would work. Does it matter?

I doubt it matters anymore.

directions for OPEN:
722 + dial
1
1
scratch off code + #
listen for a bit (ie the success sound) then end call

How much do you average spending per month?

temp, thanks! :bravo: I believe I did it
Do you know how to check balance by sending sms or any other way (but without listening it in Chinese)?

Sorry for the late reply, but no I don’t know how to check balance in English

However, I believe when your balance goes below 50, the operator will notify you of it right before you make a call, so you will know to recharge

Sorry to bump an old topic but for anybody wondering Dial 722 and then 6 then 2 for english
