I’m guessing a lot of Taipei workers will be moving there in the future and commuting in. - Please disregard this post. Got the Pingtung and Yilan articles switched around in my mind ---

In my opinion, the money you would save on the cheaper rent would be more than lost on the very expensive HSR tickets you’d need to buy each day, or do they have a season pass? ---

HSR would be a much more comfortable way to do it. ---

As I noted in subforum Kaohsiung Pros and Cons, a lot lot lot more money from the central government will be pouring south into Tainan, Kaohsiung, Pingtung in the next few years. Very good news. ---

Meanwhile the route will bypass Kaohsiung Main Station. There’s no way they’d put up with this in Taipei. Guy ---

Zuoying already handles the traffic just as well, and you can take either TRA or MRT from Zuoying to main station. No need to throw money down the toilet by making HSR go through that main station. ---
